OUR APPROACH
Chiropractic care is utilized in three stages from your first visit.
1. Relief Care (1-4 weeks): This phase of care is focused on getting you out of pain! Pain relief is our first goal, however, this will not fix the problem! This phase of care relieves the pain, but without proper correction to posture, muscular imbalances, body alignment, and body mechanics, the pain will most likely return.
2. Corrective Care (1-2 months): This phase of care is aimed at correcting the underlying problem that is causing your pain. This phase of care works to correct posture, muscle imbalances, improper body mechanics, and return proper motion to the body and spine. This phase of care focuses to correct the underlying problem, and keep the pain from returning.
3. Wellness Care (Patient Determines Length): This phase of care is entirely up to the patient. This phase is the "healthy living" phase. Maintaining your body to function properly through chiropractic care can lead to a lifetime of health! Many people suffer from headaches, back pain, neck pain, fatigue, and generally being stiff, achy, and sore, which are caused by the stresses of everyday life. Wellness patients are in search of reducing stress, sleeping better, and having a healthier lifestyle. This phase of care takes into account elements that causes stress, and then reduces it. The care will be focused on proper nutrition, exercise, stretching techniques, breathing techniques, and restoring range of motion to improve your health and restore happiness to your life.
WHAT WE TREAT
Muskuloskeletal Conditions
Chiropractors treat misalignments in the spine, called subluxations. We also help condition that arise from the nervous system, skeletal system, and muscular system. This includes problems in the arms and legs! Just a few of hundreds of extremity complaints include: ~ Sports Injuries such as Shoulder Impingement, Tennis Elbow, Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome (knee), Ankle Sprains, IT Band syndrome, and much more ~ Car Wreck Injuries ~ Illiacus Syndrome ~ Radicular nerve pain into the arms and legs ~ Headaches and Migraines ~ Bursitis ~ Pinched Nerves and Muscle Spasms ~ Leg & arm pain, tingling, numbness, weakness ~ Carpal or Tarsal tunnel syndrome
What else can chiropractic help with?
The focus of a chiropractor is on the function of your nervous system. We detect interferrence in your nervous system by locating and correcting tiny misalignments in your spine call subluxations. When a subluxation is corrected the nerve flow through the nerves between the brain and innervated tissue is restored. This in turn will restore function to your body through a greater functioning nervous system. Many conditions unrelated to the neck and back pain have been known to resolve from receiving regular chiropractic adjustments. It's about the brain, the nerves, and the function of you entire body! Chiropractors are highly trained doctors that can identify and make referrals for conditions that would normally be treated by medical specialists, if need be.

Many common injuries can also be effectively treated by chiropractic care. The most common injuries are automobile accidents, where the symptoms can be delayed by weeks or even months after the accident. Auto insurance often covers these injuries.
Work place injuries including falls, lifting injuries, and others are also treatable by chiropractic. Many work places offer insurance to cover these types of injuries.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care is a natural method of health care that focuses on correcting the causes of physical problems from subluxations or misalignments of the bones in the body, especially the spine. Chiropractic is the kind of health care that is vitalistic, which improves people’s lives by optimizing the functioning of the nervous system, so the body is able to function better.
Every cell in the body is controlled by the nervous system, including taste, touch, smell, hormones flowing, heart beating, food digesting, everything! Chiropractic does not just treat symptoms or problems, but allows for a healthy nervous system, so the body functions better.
A healthy nervous system has the ability to resist disease and ill health. Chiropractic restores the body’s ability to have a healthy nervous system, thereby increasing the body’s immunity and resistance to illnesses.
What is Chiropractic?
Doctors of Chiropractic specialize in neuromusculoskeletal conditions. One primary approach is by detecting changes to the nervous system that is being impaired by the biomechanical function of the body and how it effects overall bodily function. They locate subluxations or misaligned vertebrae, determine dysfunction in the kinetic activation of the body, and evaluate brain function. To treat they adjust the spine and extremities, and use a host of other treatments at their disposal to remove any interferences that might be impairing the nervous system. Improving the functions of the spine, the extremities, and even digestion will improve the nervous system. With a healthy nervous system, the body will be able to heal itself and operate maximally.
Chiropractic Adjustments
A chiropratic adjustment is the precise movement of a joint to restore spinal and nervous system health. Chiropractors adjust with their hands, body, or using special instruments. Adjustments are made using a precise force in a specific direction. Chiropractic adjustments are safe, and improves the nervous system and overall health.
Chiropractors commonly treat a wide variety of conditions and injuries. Most chiropractic patients understand that chiropractors can relieve pain, and regular chiropractic care will prevent pain, further injuries, and may stop or reverse many conditions.
Millions of people suffer from back, neck, extremity (arms, legs) and other musculoskeletal pain, which are all effectively relieved by chiropractic care, without the need for medication.
