Dr. Matthew Montgomery grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While on the track team in school, Dr. Montgomery developed low back and knee pain. With the State track meet only two weeks out and barely able to walk up the stairs with knee and back pain, Dr. Montgomery's father took him to a chiropractor. Two weeks later he ran and jumped his personal best and won gold and silver in the state track meet. It was the healing power of chiropractic that allowed his body to achieve a level of performance he had not been able to achieve until he was introduced to chiropractic. He went on to graduate from Northeastern State University with a B.A. in Advertising, and from Parker University with his B.S. in Health and Wellness and his D.C Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Montgomery has also had a successful music career over the years performing in front of thousands of people, writing and recording albums, and being heard on both radio, TV and movies. Upon graduation from chiropractic school, Dr. Montgomery decided to build a practice in Tyler, TX and serve the community of East Texas. Dr. Montgomery has a specialized interest in treating shoulder conditions. He is also completed an extensive training and testing requirements and is registered as a Designated Doctor through the Texas Department of Insurance.
